Polarization Maintaining Faraday Rotator (PMFR)

Description:

The Polarization Maintaining Faraday Rotator (PMFR) provides a 45° rotation in either transmission direction. PM fibers on input and output are aligned so that the output fiber major axis are at 45° from the input. Therefore in one direction, transmission will be maintained along the same axes (slow ® slow or fast ® fast). In the opposite direction, the axes will be switched. It features low insertion loss, high extinction ratio, and high return loss in a compact inline package.
