Faraday Rotator Mirror (FRM)

Description:

The Faraday Rotator (FRM) provides a 90° rotation in the polarization of reflected  signals independent of the state of input polarization. This feature eliminates polarization induced fringe fading in interferometers and sensors. It can also provide for forward and backward pass through EDFA for gain optimization. It features low insertion loss and high return loss in a compact inline package.

Applications:

·         EDFA

·         Fiber laser

·         Interferometers

·         Sensors

·         Instrumentation

Key Features:

·         Low insertion loss

·         High return loss

·         Precision polarization rotation

·         Compact inline package
