Polarization Maintaining (PM) Faraday Rotator (PMFR)

 

 

Description:

 

The Polarization Maintaining (PM) Faraday Rotator (PMFR) provides a 45 rotation in either transmission direction. The input and output fibers are PM fibers aligned so that the output fiber major axis are at 45 from the input fiber. Therefore in one direction, transmission will be maintained along the same axes (slow slow or fast fast). In the opposite direction, the axes will be switched. It features low insertion loss, high extinction ratio, and high return loss in a compact package.
